Subscription terms
Plain terms for a single product at a single price. If anything below is unclear, ask at hello@aifrit.com before you subscribe rather than after.

1. What AIfrit is
AIfrit is a subscription assistant that keeps a personal memory between conversations. It runs in any modern web browser at chat.aifrit.com, and as an Android app you download from this site. It is provided by AIfrit, 33 Arch Street, Boston, MA 02110, United States.
AIfrit writes its replies using AI models, and it can be wrong. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice, and nothing it says is a professional opinion. Use your judgement, particularly on anything that matters.
2. Who can subscribe
You need an email address you control and a valid payment card. You must be 18 or older. An account is for one person — memory only works if it belongs to somebody in particular.
3. The free trial, and the card
New members get seven days free. A card is required at checkout: that requirement exists to keep the trial free of spam, bots, and abuse, and for no other reason. Nothing is charged during the seven days. Cancel before the seventh day and you are never charged.
4. Price and billing
$29.99 USD per month after the trial. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel it. Payments are taken by Stripe; AIfrit does not receive or store your card number.
If the price changes, we will tell members before the change takes effect, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
5. Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the billing portal, signing in with your billing email. Cancelling stops the next charge. Your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and ends then; nothing you have paid for is withdrawn early. If you cancel during the trial, that period is the trial — you keep AIfrit until day seven and are never charged.

6. Refunds
We don't refund the current period. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not return money for the month that is already running.
What you keep is the month you paid for. As clause 5 says, your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and ends then, so cancelling on day two does not cut you off on day two. And nothing is charged during the seven-day trial: cancel before day seven and there is nothing to refund.
7. Using AIfrit responsibly
Don't use AIfrit to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, or to produce sexual content involving children. Don't attempt to reach other members' accounts or the service's own systems. Don't resell access or share your account. Don't automate the service at a volume that degrades it for other members.
We can suspend or close an account that does these things. Where we can, we will tell you why.
8. The Android app
The Android app is distributed directly by us, not through an app store. Every release is listed on the download page with its SHA-256 checksum, so you can check that the file you downloaded is the file we published. Installing it means allowing your device to install an app from outside the Play Store, and Android will warn you about that — the warning appears for every file of this kind, including ours. The minimum supported version is Android 7.0.
The app is licensed to you for personal use while your subscription is active. Don't redistribute it, repackage it, or modify it.
9. Availability
We don't promise a level of uptime. AIfrit is a small operation, it goes down sometimes, and when it does we bring it back as quickly as we can. Features change, and some may be removed. We will not remove something people depend on without saying so first.
10. Limitation of liability
AIfrit is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, AIfrit is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of AIfrit, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the effective date at the top changes with them, and we will tell members by email if the change is significant. Continuing to use AIfrit after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, and any dispute goes to the courts of Massachusetts.
